The Smart Asbestos Solutions team visited a property in bromley after the residents ceiling tested positive for asbestos. The rooms had to be carefully sealed, protected with polythene sheeting (such as windows, cupboard, sink, floor, wall) and all dust residue was removed. Wearing high-quality safety gear and protective suits, our team removed the artex ceiling under controlled conditions using a negative pressure unit and formed the construction of a temporary airlock. The area was then cleaned using HVAC vacuum cleaners. Background air testing for reassurance and reoccupation was also provided on request from the customer. It was then disposed of at an official, approved waste transfer facility with consignment notes given to the customer soon after.
